These Terms govern your use of the Akwaaba Express platform and services.
Akwaaba Express is a multi-service transportation and logistics platform offering passenger travel, courier and last-mile delivery, freight and logistics, shipment tracking, warehousing, and e-commerce fulfilment. Availability depends on your location and eligibility.
You must provide accurate information, be legally capable of entering an agreement, and comply with applicable laws and these Terms. Additional requirements for a specific service will be communicated before booking.
Certain features require an account. You're responsible for accurate registration details, keeping your credentials confidential, and not sharing them with others. Notify us immediately if your account may be compromised.
We may suspend or restrict an account where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, misuse, or a violation of these Terms.
Depending on the service, you may need to provide pickup and destination details, passenger or shipment information, and preferred timing. You're responsible for ensuring booking information is accurate.
A submitted request isn't automatically a confirmed booking — confirmation depends on availability, payment, and verification.
Passengers must provide accurate travel information, follow safety requirements and reasonable driver instructions, and not use the service for unlawful purposes. We may refuse or cancel a trip for safety, legal, or security reasons.
You must provide accurate shipment information and must not use our services to transport prohibited or unlawful items. Proper packaging is your responsibility where applicable.
We may inspect, reject, hold, or refuse shipments for safety, legal, or operational reasons. Prohibited-item rules, size/weight limits, and charges vary by service.
Freight services may carry additional requirements around documentation, customs, handling, storage, and delivery timelines. Additional commercial terms may apply to business or freight customers.
We don't guarantee every service is available everywhere or at all times. Availability depends on factors like location, capacity, weather, traffic, and regulatory conditions. Estimated times are estimates only and may change.
Prices depend on factors such as service type, distance, package or passenger requirements, time, and applicable taxes. The applicable price will be shown before confirmation where practicable, and pricing may be updated over time.
You agree to provide valid payment information and authorize the applicable payment provider to process transactions. Payment methods vary by country, currency, and service. Payment confirmation doesn't necessarily mean a service is complete.
Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the service, booking type, and timing of cancellation. Fees may apply where applicable. Refunds are returned through the original payment method unless otherwise permitted, and specific terms will be communicated before confirmation.
Where available, we provide shipment or trip status through the Platform, including current status, location, and estimated arrival. Tracking may be delayed or temporarily unavailable due to network, GPS, or technical limitations.
Drivers and delivery personnel are registered, verified, and assigned through our operational system, and may be restricted from assignments if not eligible or active. Customers must treat them respectfully and must not engage in abusive, threatening, or unlawful conduct.

Where you submit information, reviews, or other content, you must have the right to submit it, and it must not be unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, or infringe another person's rights.
We collect and process personal information — such as your name, contact, account, booking, payment, and location details — as needed to provide, secure, and improve our services, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law, including Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
Certain services require location information for pickup, delivery, tracking, and driver assignment. Disabling location access may affect the availability of these features.
The Akwaaba Express Platform — including its software, branding, and content — is owned by or licensed to Akwaaba Express. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit Platform materials without authorization.
The Platform integrates with third-party providers for payments, mapping, communications, and analytics. These providers have their own terms and privacy policies, and we're not responsible for their independent operation.
We may temporarily suspend or restrict services due to maintenance, technical failures, security incidents, severe weather, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, and will take reasonable steps to restore service where practicable.
To the extent permitted by law, Akwaaba Express is not responsible for losses arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Nothing here excludes liability where prohibited by law, and specific limitations may apply per service.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of the Platform, fraudulent activity, or infringement of another person's rights.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where these Terms are violated, fraud or unauthorized access is suspected, or applicable law requires it. Contact support regarding any account restriction.
We may introduce, modify, suspend, or discontinue features or services. Notice will be provided where material changes affect existing users, as required.
We may update these Terms from time to time; the updated version will be published with a revised Last Updated date. Continued use after an update may constitute acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which Akwaaba Express operates and, where applicable, the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Disputes are handled per applicable dispute-resolution procedures.
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms, together with applicable service-specific terms, the Privacy Policy, and other referenced policies, constitute the entire agreement governing your use of Akwaaba Express services.
